well I just gotta tell this story

I work for a florist as their delivery person. I'm retired and this is how I get my cigar box money. Any way, just before Christmas the boss had a company party. They did the secret gift thing. Will I decided I give one of my ukuleles that I had build as a gift. I almost backed out because I'm the only male employee and i thought what would they want one of my builds for. My wife says, go ahead, you will be suprised. I was. It almost started a fight over who was going to get it. The boss finally said new rule it can't be traded anymoe, because people were actually getting upset when someone else took it. Great fun. The young lady that finally ended up with it, gave it to her brother for Christmas. He plays guitar. She said he was really excited. He took pictures of it and posted it on facebook as the best Christmas predent he had ever received. I would have never guessed.

I ended up with a door mat that says Ho HO HO!!

That's probably the best one of those gift exchange parties "prize winnings" ever.

What do they call 'em, white elephant parties? I got a 3-hole punch one year :-) Man an CB instrument would have been too cool.

The only reason I survive working in an all women shop is I'm out driving around most the time and they are at the shop. Actually they are a great bunch, never had a problem with any, coarse I old and harmless.

Isn't "im old and harmless" usually uttered right before "would you like some candy little girl" or "I've got a puppy over here in my van, if you want to pet it"....lol
