Many Thanks, Randy... I did make a koa wood bridge for it, but, actually, it didn't make it sound and better, in fact it seemed to deaden the sound bourd a bit more than it's current position... the bridge, as it sits, does rest on the edge of the sound board, becase this box has a shadow box-like top, curved to the top, and because this box is exceptionally bright in voice, it really sings bright, clear and crisp, I'm not even going to cut any sound holes in the face, the only one is under the neck... sort of sounds kind of like a combo of banjo and sitar...

I am retired and looking at all kinds of ideas to build a very simple type cbg to maybe sell at a farmers market this summer. After looking at everything that was simple basic designs, the simplest was Shane Speals old mac. Nothing fancey just something to make music. That is the best design I have seen og course just change the box for different looks. Neck is simple two cuts for the head stock like yours eye bolt bridge and bolt for nut. Take a look at jjb electronics for neat simpe pickups you might be interested. John Mc Nair uses them and he has some outstanding guitars, and sound.
