Can anyone help me check this schematic for a piezo+volume pot+jack and a kill switch?

The switch is unnecessary, since a twist of the volume knob already does the same thing (cut off signal to amplifier).

But if you really need the switch, move the green wire from #2 volume pot to the #3 switch pin. Everything else remains the same (even the green wire from middle switch pin to jack positive). Buena suerte.

It worked! thanx

OK. First thing, remove the common wire from the case of the volume pot to pin 3 of it. Already, you will be losing signal through the overall resistance of the pot. I would suggest also removing the pink wire altogether as by switching to "kill" you effectively short out the input to your amp. Probably wouldn't hurt it, but you never know. In other words, get rid of the pink and the short black (less is more). Also, if you want to kill fast and return on release, a spring return type toggle switch will be far more accessible than a push button.

It's the pink wire that enable the kill switch to 'kill'
Which is no different to turning the volume control to zero.
There is nothing wrong with the circuit as drawn

By simply throwing the switch and breaking the link of green in to green out, you will kill it. Pink wire is unnecessary.

Switch 3 is it the one thats free?

Looks correct to me. If it's not then the voltage running through there will be low enough that you can safely do it by trial and error without worry.  I've seen metal guitarist use the kill switch method for different effects so I'm pretty interested in how it's gonna work out on a CBG ;)

its a diddley bow, so i wanna use it for those Tom Morello's stutter effects, with some overdrive in the mix

I am guessing you are looking for speed with that kill switch. The fast on/off like the metal guys do. Simpler method is this. Throw away your switch. Go and buy a two pole bush button. Not the clicking kind, just pushes down and up. Wire both pole from the push button to both poles of the jack. It will ground the circuit and do what you want. Go to my media page on my website. I use the kill switch at the end of the one string video. http://www.slideproud.com/media.html

The link appears to be broken, would you please fix it so i can check it. I'm building a one string too, in a disney tin box that my daughter was throwing away. Do you have any ideas on how can i install the piezo to reduce the feedback?

Try this. If that doesn't work just type in the slideproud.com part and find it.I wound my own pick up for that. I wanted a better sound than the piezo.

i think the swich is called a momentary switch,i reckon you could make one ..
