This is one from the belly of the beast in folk music. Written for the first Earth Day in 1970 by Tom Paxton.

I guess you have to torture the land for it to give us energy. And the deep pocket peoples pockets are never deep enough.

Drake the skull nice.

"drake  "  is about  6 inches  ,  chin to   back .  and about  5 inches  tall  .

Apparently we don't need to import any oil right now, we have commercials for hydraulic fracturing telling me we don't. For 40 years they argued with the science now they get it. We need fresh water in California and snow removal equipment in the northeast. But that might just be a band aid.

Thanks Jim, in 35 years of playing I have had some down time and it sure is a good feeling to play again.

I rather put so thought into the earth then some guy in a desert with a knife.

Maybe the California bullet train and the XL pipeline could become the Pacific Northwest to Pacific Southwest  fresh water pipeline, sound like we are going to need it.

Beautiful RTZ! So glad you're able to play some now. I'm 100% with you on concerns about our planet.

Thanks guy's have not sat in front of a mic in 2 and a half months.  Starting to play a little but still need a few more weeks of P.T.

The rock and roll side of my brain was not happy I was playing Whose Garden Was This ,Seasons In The Sun and Over The Rainbow, but my thoughts seem to be wrapped up in the future of our planet. We may be leaving the kids with a death planet.

I Found a easy way to play this I only remember that the vocal built up and this is what I got without listening to it. John Denver is where I first heard this.

That thing is cool pick how big is it?
