The Coo Coo - the Jerusalem Mules with me barging in on fiddle

Yup, a couple of my New Year resolutions (besides not drinking so much and losing 20 lbs) are to learn how to do video editing and to do some collabs with Ci...

Don't change it much Unc.It's pretty cool like you first did itI think a bass line and maybe me taking a verse would be a bunch of fun. We could maybe send it back and forth a couple of times to work out an arrangement.

Thanks James O. Now I can stop pouting about Uncs brutal honesty, lol

I expect Matt will be honored by what you did.   He should be.

Jim, I would like to try T and T with you.  I am doing it differently now with more use of a chorus.  I hope to work out my loading to youtube problems next week.   What would work from my end?  Attempt to keep steady time and leave verses for you to sing?   And would you want an instrument solo?  I've got the song split plan pretty well worked out.   I mean me verse - you verse - chorus together.  Then me verse you verse and chorus x 2

Thanks Unc. I'm trying to work out a split screen on Titties and Tires I'm thinkin' a bass track might work. Maybe I'll run an mp3 by you before the vid to get your opinion. I agree Matt has found a cool sparse niche that has a real authentic, old time feel to it. I maybe should have got his opinion before posting the vid. I'm hoping he'll be brutally honest with me when he hears it!

Cool, Jim.  I hope you get it figured out.   A planned collab with Matt with spaces for you would likely be very good.  He has really found a niche where he  is excellent.  And I think you could add to even that.

Yeah, I hear you Unc. I tried it a few different ways and since Matt didn't plan on me doing this there wasn't any open space for a regular break. Plus me trying to mess with editing added to the confusion. This is new ground for me trying something like this so I'm thinkin' there might be a few foul balls before I get it worked out. I appreciate your critique since this is one that I struggled with and wasn't real satisfied with in the end but hey... trying new stuff is fun even if it doesn't always work out!

Good fiddling, Jim.  I am a fan of yours and mules.  But for me this is not working.  Good as it is, the fiddling takes away from the sparseness of the rest.   Maybe it just needs to be lower in volume.  Now if you could just add a fiddle break or you sing a verse and add the fiddle break, we would have a winner.  I look forward to a collab with you and to all your music.
