Well well we’ll. Thanks Wes, Pick and Uncle John. Uncanny made my day! More the monkey than Clint Uncle. I’ll look at Artec Wes. I’ll see how the one I ordered works out first. Thanks Richard. I got into this riff again last night. Can’t stop pickin it. It won’t heal. I think i’ve Hypnotized myself with R.L. Burnsides riffs or his ghost is visiting.

Clint playing Uncle John’s Mallard.....do we need to rate this! Then, you modified his Mallard! My innocent mind, I’ll stick to the music! Dave, cozy fire and fire in the Mallard, some of your best playing, and that says something! Sounds like you fixed Uncles bird!  Spaghetti looks fantastic by the way, yum!

Dave, I am not as sharp as I used to be.  (Wasn't that sharp then either).   I just got the connection with Spaghetti Northern and your uncanny resemblance to Clint Eastwood.   Wow.  Uncanny.

Thanks Wes. I don’t think there’s one in there but i’ll Check. I ordered a cheap preamp off eBay to mount in a box. It has the mini jack for the rod peizo but I think I can cut that lead and solder on a 1/4 inch jack  for the “in”. Correct?

Dave, I have a pre-amp box from Wes Carl.  Indeed it does mellow out piezos.  Likely a good thing to use with them much of the time.

Thanks Wes, thanks Uncle John. I think the changes worked out good. It has the vintage look and good voice. I think i’ll Make a preamp box out of the same box (I have one). I’ve been reading Shane’s new book and it sounds like the preamp can help the peizo to mellow out the sizzle of them. I don’t like putting one in the guit itself but a separate component would be good. What do you think Wes, Uncle? Uncle, i’ll Do a photo when the sun shines next. It’s very gloomy today and wet out there. Mallard weather i spoze. It’s duck season now...
