slide blues - blues and booze
I adapted this Ma Rainey song (first recorded in 1924) for the cbg.
Charley Patton recorded this melody as well under the titles of 'High Sheriff Blues' and ' Tom Rushen Blues'. Both songs feature his frouble with the local law after a drunken spree.
