Thanks Wes and Jim! Jim what you said is 100% on the money. I'm a fretting guy. I achieved flashes of what your saying when I was practicing, more on the acoustic side, but plugged in I got some work to do to get that more traditional slide sound. Thanks for the input guys, always appreciated.

Cool! Yeah I noticed what pick was saying - looks like you're pushing that slide all the way to the wood. That's one way to do it but a light pressure on the string is where the traditional slide sound comes from. It's a different feel if you're used to "normal" fretting.

Thanks Andries, way comments! Getting down and dirty on my lap! I tuned to "G", tough to play any lead, should have stayed low on the neck David Gilmore style. That and I need to get some sustain effect, to hold the soft touch. It's an experience, the more strings the better! Running back to my comfort zone. Thanks for your kind words.

Much to learn with the slide AP! Really like these por. slides, very smooth and light. Spent several hours trying to come up with something to show off the slides. Yeah! You caught me fretting, one string hardest thing for me, shouldn't be, but gotta work on my touch! Thanks AP, it was fun!

looks like  fun  .. are you actually  "fretting "  (pushing the string down on the wood ) with the slide ?
