Back when trains were monsters!! It was a Swiss Born man that designed the idea of joining with wheels and pics..the engine so long is was 'articulated" to be able to go around curves of the tracks...Anatole Mallet his name and I think the engine seen at is the Union Pacific Challenger or a "big boy",,,4-6-6-4..the forward set of 4 wheels, pinned and jointed to go around bends ( :57shows the movement)...based on his design..i have stood right next to these locomotives as UP brought them to the west coast upon buying out Southern Pacific...really a sight to see them close, moving..HUGE. Delbarjo, that was another great share...harp is super!!! you were holding out on us, eh?
