Thanks J.Rob. I do so many different scales from uke (13") to banjo (27") that I have measurements written down in a notebook in mm. and I measure them out with a metric rule, mark them with a razor knife. and cut them with a Stew-Mac fret saw. When I first started I purchased a couple of pre slotted fret boards and used them as templates. I still use them if that's the scale I want to use. It saves about 10 min of measuring but I've gotten to where I'm more confident with my own measurements.

Cool Jim. My son plays this song in the junior brass band. Works with many instruments/styles.

Crazy cool!

Never did ask you how do you cut your fret slots?

Do you use a paper print out for where to cut the slots?

Ben E. King is in the works for sure!

Aw man, I just did a Percy Sledge tribute and Clock told me that Jack Ely died. As soon as I finished this, J.Rob told me that Ben E. King passed away. I guess that'll be my next. I'm looking for J.Rob to do one also. Hopefully the last for a while of the tributes to the recently gone.
