SHRINK KITTEN - Handmade by Thorsten

Hi, I'm Thorsten.

I started building CBGs in Feb 2011 when I had to run a school music project that combined instrument production, playing and history.

So I came to CBGs. I've been absolutely fascinated by those instruments on the CBN site. Since then I have built some slide-guitars, a ukulele bass and currently work on different instruments like Ukulele Bass, dulcimer, soprano and baritone uke etc.

I'm singer/songwriter in two bands/projects: SUGIMUGI and TRICKSTER FLINT.

Shrink Kitten is the name of my cigar box instrument production line or "brand name". All instruments have cat's names so far. I use boxes which I get for free from local shops but I've also started to make my own boxes.
