First attempt a playing a Robert Johnson song... eeek! ow my fingers! Sorry its a bit rough as its a bitch to play!
just restrung a onld mahogany parlour with some of Claptons old strings... next a trip the the crossroads?..eek!

Comment by BUGGY (C) on June 19, 2020 at 9:54pm: Standard tuning in E, the action is so low you get fret buzz when you go below, I would normamly do standard tuning at D as the stings then bend better... a Hendrix trick as other wise it kills ya fingers...fingers are dead this am :>)

I miss guitars, especially my 12-stringers still in storage - but even on 6 that would hurt these days. Plus, my bother (RIP) used to be the singer so I could always go crazy on strings. The whole presentation, too - good stuff.

I'm begining to think nylons are kinerd to your fingers... or i've been playing slide too long and my tips are soft!
