Kevin Brown and his Tin Can Guitar
I was at Upton upon Severn Blues Festival recently, and Kevin came up to me for a chat and asked if he could play at Boxstock. I told him the main night was fully booked, but I might be able to sneak in a 'showcase' spot for him, but strictly no money.
Well...he's coming to Boxstock, he wouldn't let me say no, such is it's attraction that a pro like Kevin simply HAS to play there! Kevin's slide tone is to die for, he has great touch and feeling, I'm sure just hearing him will prove inspirational to many of you good people. The programme is really getting packed with goodness...

Well i enjoyed that. Kevin plays and sings great, he has that something extra, i think it's called raw talent.

Kevin is a super slide player..taught me pretty much all I know. Well, I went to one of his SlideSchool days in Bath, and it opened my eyes to the true scope of slide playing. I'm not one to rave on about tone, but Kevin has such an astonishingly controlled sweet slide tone it is truly exceptional....don't miss him folks...it's all at Boxstock this year!!
