3 strings is just as cool!, there is this Vid by Lightning Hopkins where at the end his pick fly's treu the air aswell, believe its Hopkins Bleus, thats live for Ye! As i say'd Nice tribute and Play Jim! Thanks!

Thanks Richard. I've used cardboard cigar boxes for ukuleles also and they have a nice mellow sound. You lose a bit of volume with cardboard but the tone is surprisingly decent.

On the Dulcimer, it sounds amazing acoustically! I never would have imagined a cardboard box, but it makes sense. When you yell or scream in a box it amplifies and resonates a bit. Also a good foundation on the lap, less sliding on the lap. Your amazing what you come up with, Jim!
