Fun Workshop dave! The lady's sound great separate but the chemestry of Harmony has to bee worked up on! bee great to know the details of the blow hole? have any shematic representation of that? i workt as a potter for years myself, may bee do them whit the Kids! Thanks Greeeettszz A.D.

Robert Miruball (sp?) sure does wonders with all manner of whistle flute. I've made hundreds of them. I think they hold magic and soul.

Yeah Dave, the lead content in that red clay didn't affect us one bit, or did it?

The earliest musical instrument ever found by archaeologists was a hollow bone flute with holes bored into it Dated around 40,000 BCE I think. I imagine the sound was pretty similar to these.

I had a sweet potato as a kid. Raw red clay painted red and black enamel. If you played it a long time the clay would start to dissolve in your mouth. But I didn't ever break it. And Silent
Jim, I do fire raku flutes. I more often Bon fire them.

That's as cool as it gets Dave! We used to call them "sweet potatoes" due to the shape and to the fact that they were originally made from red clay
