Final draft of the song. The performance can use more work!
No CBGs played, but I wrote the song on one and did an earlier draft version of the song on a CBG. Heck, there is a didley and a CBF inn the background and a goose's butt. It is a home-made goose too.

Nicely played and sung Uncle John! Thanks for sharing it. I think I have a lefty version of the same guitar, if not, it is really close. A Father’s Day gift in years past. The outcome of a trip to Southpaw Guitars in Houston with that purpose in mind. I guess I need to dust it off. Enjoy yours. Martin makes fine instruments.
Thanks, Dave. A well timed and audible fart would have raised the level of that song. I knew it still needed something. Thanks for your accurate and well thought out suggestion. I will eat more of those camp fire beans.
Thanks, Kale. The new years plan is to get better at six string and kind of shrink my song repertoire. A few high levels exceed a bunch of lower levels.
Great Tune uncle. Nicely written, played, and performed. Fantastic stuff.
Wow Uncle John. I think this one is my new Fave song of yours. That fancy git box sounds good! So does your Harpin and your strong vocal too. But I didn’t hear no fartin? What’s with that?
Ha, Pick. It is nice.
Thanks, Andries. Cover it and do it your own way if you want.
The Martin is an X series. HPL (high pressure laminate) back, sides and neck. Solid spruce top on this one. Fishman electronics with inside the sound hole controls. Not U.S. made. Made in Mexico and I will give them a ton of credit. The HPL looks good. The top is nice wood. The setup seems impeccable. It plays very easily. The easiest F chords I ever made. Sound and volume are good. Warm. Balanced. Not Martin dreadnaught sound but sure good and the body size is more comfy. I am working on a six string repertoire and some iconic songs from my life.
I had plans on covering your song, but the maistro does it whit verve on a Martin no less ,im dreaming of one and the store is still asking big money ,the only one thats rezonaly priced is the baby martin and thats still 400 euro's ,but must say they sound terriffic, got me a cheap Farley roundneck Dobro, dono korea or china ,it needed some work even new ,and new strings and the spider bridge needed adjustment, there is even a built in preamp for only 160 euro to cheap to pas by, and its not ol bad!, sometimes the cheap stuff is wort the money! ,you do the new instrument justice and i hope you play more on it than your rezonator from a while back, the new year is not even started and your allready underway ! Best of luck to you UJ ! Gteeeettsszz A.D.
ohhhhhhh. you spoiled lil brat .
lol. Awesome !
Happy 29th of july ;-)
Oops!, nearly missed this one, popped up just as I was about to sign out, another great Cowboy Song Pardner, on a Six String no less!, "Git Along Little Dogies", and "Happy New Year" :-)
