This is not a CBG but it's definitely a homemade musical instrument and it's made from stuff you can get at any hardware store.

Ha ha. It may be a long journey Richard. Thanks for watching.

Closest thing we have to that sound here in Monterey is a fog horn in “D” sharp. Interesting video Poorness. It’ll be a jaunty journey to watch your progress.

Oh, and I've seen those slider didgeridoos. They're super cool.

From what I read, the best keys for beginners are C, D, and E because they offer a decent blend of tone and playability. Obviously, you can tune a didge in any key but from what I've read B1 to F2 work the best (at least for PVC). The length I posted below was a G2 but if you went for a G1 it would be 69-1/4" (using the formula anyway), so yeah... HUGE.

It sounds like you need to make a PVC Didgeridoo video Dave. I'm just getting started. You've got experience. :-) I'd actually like to learn more about it.

Kale, you need a real long Didge for a G. It has a wonderful bass tone. My slider is about 72 inches in G. Your short G will sound weird. Like a small appliance. C B And D are the best size for shorter didges . I like D the best. I like a wide mouthpiece. Mine is a nylon screw on cap. I’ve sanded off the typography on the cap end for lip comfort. The end is like a donut 3/8 inch wide.  Much better for anbrishure (sp?). Narrow mouthpieces are uncomfortable.. Beas wax is sometimes used on real didges  to form a nice soft mouthpiece and smells good too. Only trouble with that is when you set your Didge down upside down in the dirt and the dirt sticks to the mouthpiece. :*)

It’s a great video Kale. I’ve been making them for years and playing too. You’re getting better. It’s great for breathing exercise and out of body work. I’ll show my slider in a video soon and talk about it. You’ll like the slider. You have the right kind of pvc in Texas for it. :*)

Thanks Ambrose. I wanna see a lot of PVC didgeridoo pics in the coming weeks.

Good job Kale!  Educational... fun, informative... fun, measurements and calculations... not so much fun, ha!  It looks and sounds good to me.
