Thanks Bear! It's a magical beast indeed.

I'm in the middle of restringing it for E major tuning (E G# B E) so here's a tip for anybody using this kind of mandolin bridge... Don't waste your time looking for loop-end strings. If you are careful, you can use a pair of pliers to crush and remove the ball from a ball-end string... leaving you with a loop-end string.  : )

I've seen you builds and for sure you could build one. If I let lack of skill stop me I wouldn't build anything. lol

Just make sure you use a neck with a truss rod. Even though I like light string tension I've got about 145lbs on it.
