Wonderful. Listen to that tone. For me, it is all about acoustics and you sir are building some very fine ones. I love the look of your cone design. You know not having a cover plate provides a full rich tone. I remember a conversation I had with another builder. He experimented with various cover plate designs and indeed they do affect the sound. Having a sturdier cone does not seem to affect it's function, and at the same time damage to the cone is reduced. I enjoy seeing the mothers of invention hard at work! LOL Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.
