I use both DGB and GDG, Dave.  But combined together GDGB is something I like even better.

Thanks Uncle John. I'm loving the sound of this lady. I used a lower tone for her. Her strings are all wound brass. The A D and G strings of a guitar set. Tuned GDG. I usually use the D G B strings with an unwound B and G string. I fretted this one well. No buzz. Now I'm trying a cardboard top and back cigar box of the 50 cigar size. I'll prolly go with a pickup on this one cause of the cardboard. Fun building again.

That big box sounds wonderful and some good tin percussion gets my heart in time to the beat.  Pleasing!   Warm as a hot choc with a splash of Evan.
