http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=684wTdpiVa0&feature=player_embedded this tone comes from a 4 pole bass guitar magnetic pickup,maybe you could try one of those being your license plate reso has 4 strings. i built this reso over a year ago and it was my first completed license plate guitar. the pics of it show several details of the bridge and hardware and chicken head knobs and such things like that. just thought i would offer this suggestion.
