I got my old bass amp out of the attic and plugged in the pizza paddle. Holy crap! The paddle sounds downright thunderous plugged into this baby.

Make sure you check out the video Bob. I talk about the parts and give you a special shout out.

K, that is a great looking build!  What did you use for the bridge/saddles?  Also, what is the scale?  I  have all the parts to build a 4 string bass but never played one so I have no idea what to build.

Thanks Vern, Dave, and Gary. I'm pretty darn pleased with the paddle bass. Love the puns BTW.

Thanks Dave, I'll keep that in mind. ; )

Vern, bacon grease works great for guitars. Kind of stinks though. And then there’s the attraction of dogs...

It sure does Poorness. I need a little bass amp. So far I haven’t blown my speaker on my Vox pathfinder.

Good job, I like it! I'm working on a 3 string pizza peal guitar for my buddy that just opened a pizza place in town. Had to scrub it 4 times with dish soap to get the grease out of it.

Nice! Probably some real deep dish sounds, I'd guess!
