Hi evrybody!
This cardboard box (from "Gelbe Tonne, the bins run by recycling mafia over here) promised me "10% more". What, loudness, low-end, or just weirdness? How could I resist?
As a première, you see a cigar box in use on one of my instruments. That's part of my worship of the futuristic Gibson Ultratone design, which inspired several European companies. It always features covers for tailpiece, and headstock, so here goes. (No tail cover, cause that lemon press string holder is just too cool.
It is a five string steel guitar. Just because it probably can't support seven.

LOL, yes, normally I prefer sombre fireworks cartons, which then sound surprisingly mellow - oops, there is that connotation agein...
Fretboard is 3 layers of cardboard, from picture frames someone threw away, I copied an old USSR design, rescaled to 24". cutting it took quite some time, but I'm happy with the look.

Nice! The colors look kind-a Carribean or tropical. Makes yo uwant to get a cool drink.
Where did you dig up the fretboard?
Thanks,
PRH
