Hey Kale that site is great ! It’s not real accurate though. The slider doesn’t need a tight seal. It works quite well with a loose fit and allows for fast sliding. The part about tuning to different keys is true. The player determines the pitch with lip. You can bend the tones to fine tune each note or slide around a note much like a guitar slide. Thanks for the link. You could make a slider for 10 bucks. And really no need for a bell. I like em unbelled.

Thanks Unc. I can’t claim to be the originator of the slider. When I did the Minnesota Renaissance Fest there was many great Didge players there. And even “Ocean Wave’s Didge and drum shop. We used to gather after hours to blow. I got hooked. Ocean made bamboo didges and I bought one in E. I still have it but it’s cracked badly due to Minnesota winters. I’ve fixed it once but it needs more work. 
   I’d recommend a C to start or a D. G ain’t easy to play or haul around. Very long. D is just right. And E is the easiest to play.
