Rich, I just uploaded a video using this amp and one of my piezo pickup CBG's. I'm also running a simple pre-amp booster in front of the Ruby amp because the pickup on this CBG is really quiet.

It rocks with piezo's - I've tried it with 3 different piezo builds so far, with and without an extra boost from a pre-amp. Sounds clear and strong. The internal speaker sounds much better since I mounted it into a box last night too.

I'll see if I can get a video posted of a couple different configurations for anyone thinking of building one of these things - I think it was well worth the time.

It really sounds great when I connect it to a house stereo speaker (liberated from my wife's mid-80's stereo). The little speaker I have connected for the "in the cigar box" option doesn't live up to the amp's power.

After wiring this one up, I'm really curious about all the Ruby modifications I've seen on the net - I might have to sell one or two of these things to pay for the new addiction. :)
