Hi, thanks for the friend add and letting me know about the Belinda box...I would have been interested but recently I ended up buying eight of them very similar to that, which should keep me going for a while!!...also have an old one which I haven't got round to doing anything with yet....

Rich you are the best!! Mike will be really happy and he is a guy who could use some happiness right about now. He works too hard and does not get enough time to relax. I have been sending the guys to the group directly now so they can add their own thread. They will all tell you I sent them. Thank you again this is the most exciting thing out here on this base right now. The cbg fever is definately catching in afghanistan.

Rich, sorry it took so long to get back to you. We were on op minimise, it is the internet turned off because someone was hurt or dead and they could not reach the family, anyway, I askeed Mike and he said anything you would be willing to make would be ok. I play 3 strings mostly andcan teach that better , but you can make what ever you like.

Rich if you really are looking for a deployed sailor to send a cbg to I can not think of a better guy than HM1 Mike Davis, (not really hard to spell his name just hard for me to remember it) He is the leading petty officer on this mission. A super guy who I have promised to teach to play anyway, if you could build him a cigar box guitar it would make the teaching easier. Hid adress is Camp Bastion, Bastion Hospital FPO AE 09372. I did not mention this to him in case the guitar gets commited elsewhere, but I am certain he would be thrilled. If you can, thank you a ton. If not still thanks for which ever service member gets it. You may never know how much good you guys all do for us. Thanks again

Welcome aboard, Rich! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBB, CBU, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).

Most of all, have fun!

Tres.
