Yeah Gary, I did put a piezo in one of them - the kid had built an acoustic version with me last year so I let him electrify this one. I may use them next year but piezos are really difficult....esp for total beginners....just too much extraneous noise. However, they are cheap.

Way cool, Marcus!  Skills to last a lifetime!  Maybe consider the piezo disks to help keep costs down, while still making them electric?  Good on you and them, as Uncle says!
