Yep, poplar. I love finding great patterns in the grain, like buried treasure. And in retrospect, I should have taken a picture of the BACK of the headstock with the really cool grain.... I literally snapped these before wrapping this CBG up for delivery.

Aren't we pleased when the wood grain really shows out? Very nice Nathan. I like the rounded look. Is the fret board poplar?
