Recommended Dremel Bit?

I glued a 'cover plate' from Lowe's onto my Dremel router base. Look on my worktable, toward the back on the right side. http://www.cigarboxnation.com/photo/workshop

Cool I thought of that , well not with the dowel rod but with a piece of wood with a 3/4 hole drilled and the door puller push in then cut the bottom off . But that was before my dremel blew up !I had to use a hacksaw instead . The small grear betwe…

Ronnie,
Sorry about the late reply - for some reason I didn't know I had a friend request. I have been playing the banjo for 1 year now come March. I am still not very good - but I keep practicing. FInally took the time to buy the materials to build a CBG - now I just need to get out in the shop - clean the shop - and start building. I have never built an instrument so this should be an adventrue. Hope all is well.

I'm kinda new to this whole CBG thing, As well as the panhandle, so as of now I stand alone with my cigar box.

Amen, brother, I agree with everything you're saying. I have a lot of hobbies, but I gotta tell you this CBG thing is the most fun, more addictive than smoking, and the most rewarding of anything I've done, and the bonus is that I am getting acquainted with some very interesting and friendly people. Thanks.

Ronnie, thanks for the kind words of encouragement. Hearing such reinforcement only inspires me more. Being an old guy who has received so much positive feedback in such a short period of time for doing something fun, I wonder what might happen to the 'lost' youth of our country if they could experience such unconditional acceptance. The whole CBG experience, albeit short for me, has been unbelievable. Not only have I found a new hobby, but I am making friends with some very nice people. Thanks. Perhaps you can tell me how I might go about learning how to play this thing. ;-)

The picture of the Diddley Bo shows the nut and bridge bolts oriented for a lefty. This is of course my opinion and I still respect the 'there are no rules' policy of building cigar box guitars. Interesting that you play pool left handed. My brother is left-handed and plays guitar and banjo right handed. My dad is right-handed and chops wood left-handed.

Ronnie: I can tell right now that I am a member of a great group. Looking forward to it.
