Gluing the fretboard, back

The end of the fretboard and be clamped using a caul, but the neck is curved. LOTS of industrial-sized rummer bands work fine, and apply pressure from all directions equally.

Comment by Alan Roberts on May 22, 2011 at 3:47am: You know... I can't remember. When the fretboard is a lot wider, I use a band saw. I might have well just used a chisel, then raps n file.

Comment by Rand Moore on May 22, 2011 at 1:26am: After gluing your fretboard on, did you have to trim the sides with saw, or file? The fretboard looks much wider than the neck. I usually fret the fretboard before gluing it onto the neck. Just my preference.
