I gotta think that you could get a fret board off ebay. I got the neck and fretboard for less than $12.

Thanks all for the comments.it actually came out better than I expected. I felt that it created no more challenges than a CBG.I got most of the parts off ebay. A few from China. I've got less than 40 bucks in it. Just ordered a cheap bow for less than $10.

It's really beautiful!  So, where did you get the fingerboard?  I was asked by a friend to, when I get better at building, to build him a CB fiddle.  I'll need to get a fingerboard, but I don't know where I can get one, other than to pay up the ying to get one new from a supplier, or to cannibalize a junk fiddle.  BTW, I do play, and seeing your makes me want to build one for myself!  :)
