It was a cheap chinese pickup from ebay, less than £3 including postage! Surprisingly good for the price. Although I should qualify that by saying I don't have much previous experience with pickups. The tone is deep, not so much of the high stuff, you can listen to it here if you've not already.
As for the sticker, I stopped smoking a number of years ago so I think I should be safe now! Or maybe I should compose a stop smoking song on it?

Looks great! Do you mind sharing what kind of pick up that is? I like the idea of volume and tone control. I also like the sticker. Does it speak to your playing?

It's so that the strings run in between each pole. I don't know why that's important but it seemed to be to me!
I also hoped that it would make the bottom string a little twangier as it would be nearer the bridge.

That's a beauty, J-Hob. Is there a reason for the diagonal orientation of the pickup?
