At 12:45am on August 16, 2010, MrRandomWritings (Backwater Bri) said…: Problem I had with my first coil one was you can't have the neck running all the way through the box cos the pickup gets in the way and when I did it the box lid wasn't strong enough on it's own and it went hopelessly out of tune! You may need to re-inforce the lid either side of the pickup. If you look at my video http://www.cigarboxnation.com/video/coil-pickup-demo you will see how I got round it - that was very rough and I am sure there are neater/better ways to do it!
