Well the experimenting stage is over and I have the first run of brass spun cones ready for whoever needs them.
They need a 6 inch hole to sit in and a 1/2 inch lip to be screwed down so a 7 inch wide cigar box will do fine.They sit down about an inch deep so you can still use a stick thru type guitar design.
You don't need a cover plate for these but you can add one if you want just for looks. It's best to install them in a box with nice hard wood or a thick top and the bigger the box the better.They are 25 bucks and if you want one just send me a message or catch me in the chat room.
