cool, thanks Korrigan and Dave for the info. Someday I want to give it a go. I like the look I have seen when the fretboard has colors on them.

I used one of these for the fretboard and headstock...



And then sealed with poly. On other builds I've also used acrylic paint and my wife's very expensive Copic markers (won't make that mistake again, lol).

I use oil paints Lonman. That way I can mix a color I like. It’s tough paint too. Slow drying but long lasting.

very cool, what is the fretboard and how did you get the different color. I like this look but have not done it yet, always like to read what others do
