Anyone use a wrap around bridge combo tailpiece?  This is for a solid body electric.  I am just wondering about the height of the bridge and the action height.  I am using a 1/4 inch thick finger board.  the bridge height is about 1/2 inch.  I guess I can set the neck with a little angle...thoughts?

Some room for personal preference here, but I'd go with the middle one in the middle. :)

Lay it out with the outer strings about 3/16" from the edge and see how that looks to you.

Most of the time the necks built here are wide enough to give you a lot of room to fudge it with three widely spaced strings. Its just not the critical thing as it is on 6 stringers.

Here's the first of my Brick House project...strum?thing configuration with an alto (key of C), standard (key of G), and grand (key of D). Should have this one done tonight or tomorrow.

This is a "robusto" box for the Alto. I have a "toro" for the standard and a "mighty mighty" for the grand.

Just an idea/enquiry, has anyone made a git/diddley from an old bed warmer?  the old copper ones?   They seem the perfect shape and probably cheap enough at flea markets etc?  I'm keeping my eyes peeled to give it a go but thought I'd share the idea and would love to see pics of a built one, have found plenty of bed pan gits but no warmers.
