I simply applied my knowledge of Open G (DGDgbd) from 6 string guitar to standard Bluegrass Banjo tuning (gDgbd). As you know, this can be further reduced to 3 string CBG (GDg) and 4 string CBG (Dgbd). Very frugal. Use what you got and spread it as thin as it will go. LOL Enjoy, Keni Lee

- Thank you Herb for your comment. Unfortunately, I do not own this wonderful instrument. I posted the picture to inspire the builders here. Basically it is a gramophone resonator found in a Victrola record player that amplifies the sound. Google Stroh violin for more info. Enjoy.
