Thank you all very much.

I'll post a video some time next week. I'm busy with work and family duties this week/weekend, and I haven't got a bass amp around, so I'll have to do recordings with the computer or use the acoustic amp. The bass is a present for my nephew. Perhaps I'll build a similar one soon. The strings are E and A, Fender Strat scale (no reinforcement), so the strings don't have so much tension which is okay for a fretless bass, I think. And ... three ukulele bass necks wait to be finished this spring. So I'll have to be very busy ...

I am going to make a 2 string bass and have some 4 string pickups.  Any advice on how to mount these?
