God I thank you for this site and this group that come together and lay their petitions at your feet for friends and family,I ask that their prayers would fall sweetly on your ears and you would find favor and give them the answer that they seek according to your perfect will,in Jesus we ask Amen.

amen to what Sam and Joker has prayed too, thanks fer the prayers because we are family. the chapel is a place to come together as one voice to be spoken and heard.thank you brothers for your guidance in a spiritual way.

thanks lads -my eyes are watering but it must be some dust in here...honest!
-I just read your message to Abi and she says thank you. spent last night with Abi on the sofa and me on the floor as she couldnt settle in bed.Its weird when you have kids-you end up sleeping in every room in the house for some strange reason!

In obdience to the command to "carry one another's burdens" and for the love a one of your little ones, Father we come to you. We ask that you surround Abi with the warmth of your healing grace. We remind ourselves that by the "stripes of Christ" we are healed. So we rejoice that this passage for your daughter will be swift and that the joy of having it done will be full. Until then, comfort child, Dad and all who carry the worry of this hour.

lads can you spare a prayer for my 11 year old, Abi-she developed HSP this week-it is rarely life threatening but it is VERY painful and debilitating-her joints are swollen and her body-ankles in particular, are covered in rash/sores-imagine what poisonous snakebite victims' legs look like and you'll get the idea-it aint pretty.
thanks in advance for your time-I know from experience IT WORKS..but thats another story I'll save for another day.

One of my fav. sayings is "Faithfulness is its own reward." By this I mean, "Do the right thing" and you open yourself up to the blessings that God wants to get to you....

It is always conflicted when a "new" religion like Christianity, piggy-backs on practices of older religions. In the history of Christianity, it is easy to observe that when Christianity because the state sponsered religion of the Roman Empire is was "helpful" to transfer long standing practices of the people into the liturgical observances of the church.

Depending on the year, I am annoyed by this or embrace it as a way of making the deeper truths of my faith accessible to the broader population. I guess for me, unlike Christmas, we have enough information to determine that Resurrection Sunday is rightly associated with Passover, but unique from it.

At the end, the real question is "Are the followers of Jesus Christ living resurrected lives?"
