Would be nice to see 2 strings being built and played for us that cant play very well these types of CBG are great.

Classic slide guitar song. Sounds pretty good on a 2 string CBG. This one is octave tuned, G &G.

Comment by ChiBob on September 20, 2010 at 8:46am: I always think of guitar strings as EADGBE - from low to high. So on a 2-string, for me it's D-low, G-high, key of D. For the key of C, it would be C-low, F-high, etc. Again, we're talking fourths. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Comment by Diane in Chicago on September 20, 2010 at 7:47am: I tuned my a fourth apart, too, on my 2-string diatonic strummer and the drone from the second string nicely complements melody on the first string, and vice versa.

So that would be:
AD - key of D
DG - Key of G
EA - Key of A
GC - Key of C

Wanting to try something different, I was going to try thirds - melodic, right? But then I stumbled on a D-G tuning, a fourth, and it was really different. I really like it. Anybody use that setup?
