Just substitute the pick up for a piezo of course.

Has anyone actually done this with a piezo and had it work? What resistance pot did you use? It just seems unlikely to work with a pot with a max resistance only a fraction of the piezo's impedance.

I followed the instructions given by the guys and it worked like gangbusters. I bought a standard volume pot from the Guitar Center for 5 bucks and wired 'er up.

Thing works perfectly; no noise at all. I have one of these on my resonator.
