Yep, I used one a while back. Cute little brass bits with three holes in 'em; you just have to bend the hook part straight and drill a couple of mounting holes. I found a bunch of 'em at the big-box hardware store.

Here's one posted in the last day or two, plus one of mine. Mine has the hanger painted black. There are many more on here, just grabbed these kinda quick. I've experimented with almost every kind of hinge or hanger because I just don't like running the neck out the back of the box. My next trick will be to simply use some 1/4" oak and drill holes in it for the strings, and mount it flat across the end of the box. I get tired of makin everything brass...

I'm using one like Mark has pictured in my current build. I got it at Lowes. I just bent the hook straight, and drilled two holes to mount it to my box.
