I used an old Squier Telecaster Neck that I had and a 72 Telecaster Top Loader Bridge and an old Telecaster Neck Pick Up. The Neck came with tuners so the build was very easy. Also, a Telecaster neck pocket doesnt seem to have any neck angle to worry about and that made it very easy !

A neck pick up on a tele is usually darker and a telecaster gets its twang from the bridge so i placed the neck pick up near the bridge to brighten up the sound.

I dont have the volume and the tone pots installed but I hooked up the jack to the pick up and plugged it in and WOW !

I got this pick up from a guy I bought a neck from in the Valley (San Fernando, CA) who didn't have five dollars change, I told him to keep the change and he gave me the neck pick up as a gift. He said I would love it and that it was special and he was right.
