acoustic or electric, also some new music

wondering about peoples thoughts on acoustic versus electric? I play old traditional songs mostly now so I play acoustic unless I am playing in front of people then will mic it up to reach people. Still for me it is the old old sound of just a box and strings. It is as primitive as a wolf's howl to me. So what do you like best and why?? also here is a link to some of my music, I recently bought a new mic and am getting a better sound from my recording. Enjoy is you like!!!

Personally, I think traditional songs sound best played acoustic, with a strategically placed mic does them justice? But if you’re going electric & want to retain the original acoustic quality, then go with an internal mic style pickup? You can get a good one for an affordable price at Guitar Fetish? Love your ol’ timey style Matthew, keep it up!
