Actually Jeff, most of them come off pretty clean- see RtB#3. Because I treat the outside of the box with linseed oil any residual gum doesn't show. I leave the tax label and the little bronze one on, but everything else looks tacky, y'know?

cool id leave them as is you may find it could damage the tops unless you are going for the destressed look .
