I just listed four more cigar box guitars on eBay.  These all follow my "Catfish" design that I developed between 1993-1996 when I ran Catfish Music Works.  In fact, I'm still using the same neck template that I created back then.  This is the same type of cigar box guitar as my old Macanudo.

SHANE SPEAL'S CIGAR BOX GUITARS ON EBAY

Info for the tech geeks in here:  These are neck-thru-body "spike fiddle" design.  I have a dado blade technique that scoops out all the wood that would touch the soundboard with the exception of the two mounting ends and directly under the bridge. This enables the box top to resonate at the loudest volume possible while still having the neck serve as the bracing.  I try to keep soundholes to a minimum in order to give the soundboard the most wood to resonate. (Helmholtz Resonance Theory shows that you only need a hole the size of a quarter to get proper bass response in these things)   In fact, i placed the soundhole on the side of the Torcerdor guitar because it was such a big, booming box.

Most of these guitars are wired for electricity.  They have piezo disc pickups mounted inside, right near the bridge area for maximum sound transfer.

That sound hole on the side is different.

The "Alma" pictured above has been sold.  It's heading to Switzerland!

The last "Leadbaby" cigar box guitar has been sold.

I've got 5 "$75 Chuggers" left. (They're boxed up and ship the next day).  I'll try to make more before Christmas... gotta go out in the shed and see what boxes I have left.  Also, some other one-off models coming up soon, too.
