The nice wooden one cost me $30au once postage came into it. From USA.
But it is a very nice looking box.
I think the one from WA cost me about $16. ( I sent you a link to the seller )

Yes, Im making fretted neck, I was given the number of a guy who does guitar re-fretting at Charlestown, rang him today, he wants $25 for a set of frets. By the sound of it he dosn't buy it in a single length, but pre cut.

Im lucky as far as timber goes, I work for a Company with a Carpenters shop. Im using kiln dried hardwood. And yes it is bloody hard ! If I didnt, Ide be looking for a Cabinet maker, furniture maker, somone who makes things out of wood and talking to them. You only need what they would consider an off cut, and if you tell them what you want it for... I rekon there's a good chance they will give it to you or charge you bugga all for it.

Boxes have been my concern but now i must look for a suitable neck.

May i ask what it cost to get the two boxes from ebay (all up price) please?

Are you going to make a fretted neck?
