Good deal man !

I have the same thing coming up, just dunno if I wanna do it. I also had the head honcho ( who loves me and my stuff) even ask me if I would be interested in performing at the grand opening ... it is a new art gallery.

Are you crazy? Of course you want to do it! I"ve got one coming up in December, too, and I'm handing out the postcard invites wherever I go.

We're just putting a leather thong around the head and hanging them on a nail on the wall. They'll be all tuned up and ready to go, so folks can take them down and play. It is only a one-afternoon event, and we're having a handful of players for a mini-concert: a rock-n-roll guy, the teen girl uke squad, a blues guy on a blues-stick I made for him (well, not really FOR him, he just never gave it back) and the gallery owner's DIY OT string band.

Yeah, I do ...... and yeah , I'm crazy! I emailed her this morning and have been playing g-mail-tag all day. Now I'm waiting on her to verify my appointment for tomorrow evening.

Best Wishes on your upcoming showing. I think having pictures of the Great Depression, Dust Bowl, Mississippi Delta, etc might help if you were interested in expressing their historical value. Please post pictures of the event. I would enjoy seeing it too. Enjoy.
