There are several good tutorials here.,.,and a few more on YouTube.,,.  Using your glass cutter, you can score a ring around a bottle neck.,., I used to clamp a block to the bench to  align the bottle, but what ever works for you.,  I usually use beer bottles or pop bottles.,. once you have a nice scratch around the bottle neck, dip it in boiling water for 30 seconds.,. then dip it in a bowl of water filled with ice water.,., the bottle neck pops right off.,., if it doesn't work the first time, repeat .,.,.,  I did see a great YouTube video where 2 ladies used thread and nail polish remover instead of the glass cutter.,., they wrapped the thread around the bottle neck 15 times or so.,.,then soaked the thread in nail polish remover.,., light it on fire.,., wait 20 seconds or so,.,., douse in ice cold water.,., they made it look so easy.,. without a glass cutter I have heard of using a new hacksaw blade to score the bottle.,.,  ( be careful.,,.!!)
