Swamp Witch Guitars built me this tribute to my friend, Wesseh Freeman. Hear me tune it to "Wesseh Tuning." Swamp Witch used actual photos of Wesseh's oil can guitar to create the artwork on this cock-necked 3 stringer.

"I'm honored by the contagious smile and mood this video emits . That's what it's all about . It was a pleasure to be able to send the same kind of sentiment your way , as you do for others ."

Thanx , and Keep on being you, shane ;-)

Hi Pick. Wonderful guitar and sentiment. You are Awesome Pick. SWEET!

Shane sent folks to eBay and didn’t mention CBN? I thought that strange but I suppose it would reach more folks. Love you Pick.

The original post was on Youtube and meant for the 15,000 subscribers to my channel.  I figured I'd give them the quickest link to make a purchase and help Pick make more sales.  :)

That's fantastic Pick!   : )

Thanx guys ,  but the Credit  really goes to Wesseh and Shane , If  it were not for  "real deal"  folks like Wesseh , inspiring folks like Shane ,  there would be no sites like cbn  etc  ..and folks like me  wouldn't be here .  I was just giving the teacher an apple on a bad day ;-)

The odd thing was  i felt an urgency  to get it done  as quickly as i could . I guess i wanted him to have it to help him "get through this"  .. and not   "brought all back / reminded about it all " in a couple of weeks .

I literally started before turning off the computer after seeing the announcement of Wesseh's  passing , and Shane's short stunned comments . I had no real wood supplies on hand   . or oil cans , so  i used scrap wood and cannibalized  an old neck . etc . and was done  in just over a day .

When i originally posted  this  video ( https://www.cigarboxnation.com/video/for-shane ) to show him , , i wanted  it to have no "commercialism"  feel to it . so .  no  swamp links , no logo  , no no sales overtones  etc .  i didnt even put the swamp witch logo on the guitar . and even tried to disable comments . This was for " them" .

I believe Shane being Shane ,  included  the  direct ebay  shout-out  , as to say  ... "screw that  ,, you're getting a plug  buddy  "  ;-)

It goes around and comes around folks . They inspire others , Others  inspire me , and maybe ill inspire  some others .  .  it's that little part of this place that  only members  here can get and feel  and  .. it feels good  ;-)

cheers all.

Shane, i’m Going to listen again to learn more about the Wesseh tuning and play technique. I like African Guitar styles very much. Would you consider more tutorials on the subject? Thanks Shane.

Shane, what string gauges are on the Wessah guitar?

unless Shane changed them . they are #3  #4  #5  from a  Swamp witch strings pack .   basically  same size as a pack of .09's .

All around awesomeness!!! Great work guys!!!

Extra koolsville.Big ups to Shane and Ben for helping Wesseh out and going the extra mile. And in turn to Pick.Mr anonymous, you have a great heart and whenever I look on Nation ,you have your stamp, both as an artist and a solid stand up guy.Big love to you.Keep up the good work.

ahh shucks , Vin , / guys    ;-)
